First Grade Rocks!I have been with QCSS for 3 years now and have loved every minute.
My teaching style is very hands-on, which is why I chose to teach at a STEM school. It is my belief that students learn through play and exploration... plus hands-on projects are a lot more fun for everyone... including me! I have always had a passion for teaching. In fact, my kindergarten teacher inspired me to become a teacher and throughout the years I never lost sight of that passion. I have taught almost all ages, from Pre-K to middle school aged students. As a teacher, I believe it is not only my job, but my duty to pass on my love of learning to each and every child that enters my classroom. In short, I love what I do and I am so excited about the 2020-2021 school year at QCSS! CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
In my classroom, we are first and foremost here to LEARN (a big rule in my classroom is learn first, play later), but we are also here to create new, caring and compassionate relationships with one another. Every day we discuss, practice and highlight one aspect of friendship, character, respect or kindness. My expectations are to simply: learn something new every day, ask questions when you don't understand, and be kind along the way. ZOOM Classroom: For at least the first part of the school year, we will be participating in virtual learning. Scroll down for our Zoom schedule and Zoom Classroom rules! |
